On the 4th of November the ÖGI hosted the fourth working group meeting of the FFG project "COMMA" at the Asia Hotel & Spa Leoben. 35 participants from supplier, casting manufacturer to the casting user industry followed the invitation.

According to the title of the project „Classification & Optimization of Materials and Mechanical Properties of Advanced Die Castings“, the results of this FFG project on the subject of  "die casting" were presented and findings were discussed.

The project results represent a significant further development of know-how in the field of die casting and are the basis for future consulting and research activities of the ÖGI. The results will be made available to the industry in form of presentations, publications and training courses. The project managers DI Dr. Peter Hofer-Hauser and Ing.
