These data are crucial for material development and as input parameters for numerical simulation.

MEASUREMENTS IN THE FRAME OF ACCREDITATION

  • Measurement of thermal expansion of solids in the temperature range -150°C to 1200°C according to DIN 51045-1 (2005)
  • Measurement of heat capacity in the temperature range -150°C to 1100°C according to EN 821-3 (2005)
  • Measurement of thermal diffusivity in the temperature range -60°C to 1200°C according to EN 821-2 (1997)
  • Measurement of dynamic Young’s modulus in the temperature range 20°C to 900°C according to EN 820-5 (2009)

MEASUREMENTS NOT COVERED BY ACCREDITATION

  • Measurement of electrical resistivity/conductivity of metallic specimens in the temperature range from 20°C to melting by four-point probing
  • Measurement of electrical conductivity at room temperature by eddy currents
  • Measurement of dynamic Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio in the temperature range 20°C to 500°C by resonancy
  • Calibration of thermocouples in the temperature range 200°C to 1200°C according to EURAMET cg-8
