The extensive casting equipment in the pilot foundry permits the
processing of test castings as well as small series by sand-, gravity
die-, low pressure die- and high pressure die casting. Moulds and
dies for a wide variety of geometries for test specimens are available.
All cast materials such as cast irons, steels, copper alloys, Al and Mg
alloys can be cast in the pilot foundry. Speciality alloys are prepared
on request.

The pilot foundry has a high standard of infrastructure for customer specific
experimental equipment, machines and implementation of customer needs.
